Senator Ellis, Acting Majority Leader, moved and asked unanimous                                                                
consent to take up the Conference Committee Report on SENATE CS                                                                 
FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 284(FIN) am S and CS FOR                                                                              
HOUSE BILL NO. 284(FIN), which had been held on the Secretary's                                                                 
desk (p. 2309). Without objection, it was so ordered.                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
Senator Ellis, Acting Majority Leader, moved that the Senate adopt the                                                          
Conference Committee Report on CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE                                                                          
BILL NO. 284.                                                                                                                   
                                                                                                                                
The question being: "Shall the Senate adopt the Conference                                                                      
Committee Report on CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE BILL                                                                                
NO. 284 "An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan                                                                
program expenses of state government and for certain programs,                                                                  
capitalizing funds, amending appropriations, and making                                                                         
reappropriations; and providing for an effective date"?" The roll was

consent that the vote on the adoption of the Conference Committee                                                               
Report be considered the vote on the effective date clauses. Without
